Who Should Attend

These Experiential KAP Training Practicum Retreats are designed for licensed mental health and healthcare professionals seeking to expand their therapeutic skills through immersive, hands-on training.

    • LMFTs, LPCCs, LCSWs, and NPs
    • Physicians, psychologists, therapists, nurses, chaplains
    • Other licensed clinicians interested in integrating KAP into their therapeutic practices

Prerequisites

Introductory Practicum:

  • Hold a relevant clinical license (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, NP, etc.).
  • Have completed Polaris Module 1, Introduction to KAP, or possess equivalent foundational knowledge in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

Registration Details

Step 1: Application Submission

  • Complete the online application form on our website, which will request information about your background in spiritual care and psychotherapy.

Step 2: Application Fee

  • A non-refundable application fee of $250 is required to cover medical screening costs.

Step 3: Medical Review

  • After your application is received, a medical review with Dr. Steve Rosonke will be scheduled. This ensures that all participants are medically cleared for the experiential components of the practicum retreat.

Step 4: Confirmation of Participation

  • Once your application is approved and the medical review is complete, you’ll receive registration confirmation and details about preparing for the practicum retreat. The total practicum retreat fee of $4,000 will be due at this time, with payment plans available upon request.

Scholarships

Partial scholarships are available in limited numbers. Details and application instructions are provided during registration.

Travel Arrangements

  • Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from San Francisco/Oakland, where the practicum will take place.
  • Specific venue details and recommendations for travel routes will be provided after registration.
  • Lodging is not included, but discounted hotel options will be provided after enrollment.
  • Daily meals, snacks, and beverages are included, with accommodations for dietary needs.

Health and Safety

Rainfall Medicine and Polaris adhere to all current health guidelines to ensure participant safety. Full protocols will be shared closer to the practicum dates.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations 30+ days before the practicum: Refund of the fee minus a $500 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations within 30 days: No refund.
  • If the practicum is canceled by organizers, participants receive a full refund and priority registration for rescheduled events.
