Soma Peterson
Soma Peterson received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma Washington. She began her nursing career in the area of Obstetrics working on labor & delivery, nursery, high risk Antepartum and mother/baby-postpartum units in various hospitals throughout the country while working as a travel nurse for 10 years. Her “traveling years” took her to many states across the country before finding home and starting a family in Hood River Oregon. After receiving a profound and transformative healing treatment from a Cranial Sacral therapist where she innately understood that the power to heal lies within the body she decided to learn the healing art of Cranial Sacral therapy, a light touch somatic based therapy. She received her Certification degree in 2015 from the Therapeutic Training Center in Seattle Washington and shortly thereafter set up a practice offering this modality which seeks to support the innate healing capacity of the body found in everyone of us! Soma soon realized that she had “the gift of seeing” and is a compassionate and deeply intuitive listener of your body, mind and soul. She cares deeply for her patients and is fully committed to supporting them through their healing journey.

In 2023 she completed her KAP(ketamine assisted psychotherapy) training from the Polaris Institute out of San Francisco and now helps to administer the IV & IM treatment sessions here at Rainfall. If scheduled she can also give a Craniosacral session prior to receiving a ketamine session. This fosters the patient entering into a deep sense of grounding and safety in the body before entering into states of non-ordinary reality.
The journey to healing can often be found in the liberation of the vital force energy or the “breath of life” that gets trapped because of the traumas we encounter throughout life and Soma is an adept and skilled healer at locating and releasing these “stuck” places in your energetic system allowing your body to achieve the balance harmony and healing it needs.
Soma is deeply held through her love of nature and the outdoors and enjoys kiteboarding, skiing, tennis, hiking and traveling.
